Analysis: |
Now that the Phoenix are no
longer around (for now) ... it's anyone's ball game in Season 2. Or so
we think? Despite only seeing two teams in action in Week 1 ... one
thing was evident ... Coach Britney Hodges and the Junkyard Divas are
here to play. Ashely Hohenberger could be the next Jennifer King
with her Arm and this could spell disaster for the other teams.
However, her receivers, actually just Gobeail McKinley are going to have
to start making plays. McKinley dropped three sure touchdowns from
Hohenberger in Week 1 and that could quickly make a QB lose confidence
in a receiver! The team faces the Lady Panthers this week and if
there was a team that was on the cusp last season in terms of being a
real contender it def. was the Panthers. Coached by Dewayne
Thomas, the Lady Panthers ... ummm, actually all we know about the
Season 2 Panthers is who they are coached by! The Lady Panthers
camp has been real hush entering this season, yet we hear the 'team is
ready!' We shall see and until we do ... it's all Divas for us! |

Analysis: |
Again we are left to scratch
our heads, wondering what's being brought to the table, yet this time,
we refer to that gritty and grimy bunch of girls in Something Serious.
We were amazed at the intensity and sometimes downright horrible trash
talk this team brought to the field last season, but hey if this is what
it takes to get the team fired up ... to each his (or her in this case)
own. Let's hope the offense is intact as this team was more about
defense in Season 1 than scoring many points. We do hear that QB
Amanda Massey is back at the helm and that experience should help out
tremendously. As for the Angels, despite wins being tough to come
by, we like this team alot, because no matter what the score is, they
play to the very final whistle. Many critics are starting to
wonder if the game plan the Angels are attempting to execute is best
suited for the squad, meaning 'Do the Coaches Get It?' ... yeah that was
a knock on the coaches, as entering Season 2 and completing Week 1, we
see the same Angels teams (strengths and weaknesses) that we saw last
season ... and well that team only won 2 games. |

Analysis: |
Now this one should be good.
Stampede, we'll add you to the Panthers and Serious and just say we
don't really know what you're brining to the table, but we do know your
Coach ... Alteric Dunston ... is a veteran of the game ... and if anyone
can put a scheme together that works (offensively or defensively) ... we
know he can. Although, we thought the same about Coach Cole last
season, yet we see how that project turned out ... but as always QB play
is what's key ... if your offense can put points on the board, then your
defense just needs to hold ... sometimes getting those two to work
concurrently is the biggest issue. So Angels, this would be a
great chance to pick up a win early in the season ... but we're just not
convinced you gals can close. We see this one coming down to the
wire and the Stampede making a final surge to score the winning
Touchdown! But as always, we can be proven wrong! |
