Each week ME - the Resident Oddzmaker will give you the skinny on games for the week.  There will be analysis, team breakdowns, the lines and more.   You will also be able to find the lines themselves in the latest version of THE WIRE. This is strictly for entertainment purposes only...don't think you can bet on the games, because you can't.

Season VII - Week 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
"Well, well Mr. Cole...seems as if you have been awfully busy.  16 teams...now that's impressive.  Means I got a lot more work to do each week now.  Speaking of more work, that bonus check should be awfully healthy now, eh?!  Week 1 will be the tough one as I don't know jack about alot of these teams, got a few scouting reports from the Pre-Season Invitational II, more Kudos to you, heard it went well.  Couple things on the rumor wire...but hey...I'm here to do the damn things, so enough talk let's get it started!"

Week 1
Game: Raleigh Woodpeckers (0-0) vs. Assault (0-0) Assault by 17
Analysis: Steve Bergman out.  Leslie Epps out.  Kenny/Chill potential QBs?  This could be an interesting year for the Assault.  Although as we have seen time and time again, as well as 5 TAFFL BOWL Championship...you can never count this team out...NEVER.  With that being said, who the heck are the Raleigh Woodpeckers?  No way I can pick against the Champions, when I have never heard or seen these guys play.  Week 2 may provide a little more info to make a better prediction...but until then...ASSAULT big in usual fashion.
Final: 56-21 Assault

Week 1
Game: Reservoir Dogs (0-0) vs. Crush (0-0)

Crush by 10

Analysis: Heard it didn't fair too well for former Royal Flush and now Captain Hagen of the Reservoir Dogs in the PSI.  But is Hagen really a QB?  I was told that he picked up a QB in Corey Rush, hey I remember that name...and if memory serves me, this guy talked a BIG game, but never made it to the field...for reasons unknown.  Maybe we can ask Jerry!  The Crush seem ready to play in a few conversations I overheard during the offseason.  So again, hard to pick who I really think will take this one, but again, if the Dogs don't play better than they did two weekends ago, could be a long, long season!
Final: 24 - 8 Crush

Week 1
Game: Da Zoo (0-0) vs. Strikers (0-0)

Da Zoo by 13

Analysis: Did I just pick Da Zoo, <cough> <cough>, "this some good $%*&"  - Indeed I did, not because they are ready to turn it around...although we pray they are...but because I think the Strikers may have some personnel problems which we hope can get fixed by Sunday.  Overton'El had a breakout season for lack of a better word, but can his boys catch this season...Pate and Austin can't do it by themselves.  Strikers did sign big 'O' in Orlando Adwaters, but again, he won't be able to do it by himself.  So I have to go with the experience in this, not necessarily the talent, but as always, my words are meant to inspire, not insult.
Final: 32-18 Da Zoo

Week 1
Game: Average Joes (0-0) vs. Raleigh Thunder

Raleigh Thunder by 20

Analysis: My prediction is the Thunder will go very deep in the playoffs.  In this game you will see why.  This team is talented and almost went undefeated if weren't for my Favorite team (Cole and the Royal Flush - Hey he pay's my paycheck okay) pulling the 'upset' in the season finale.  With a slew of returners, including Borowitz, who had a great season (but can get a bit RAZZLED under heavy pressure), my favorite player after Cole, Tim Dumas - who is the most electrifying and talented player in the game, and TAFFL veteran Andre Berry it'll just be too much for the Joes to handle.  Although I will admit, after sitting through a couple of Average Joes practices and the performances they showed in the PSI - they won't be pushovers, well at least after this game.  Captain Kyle Mitchell has said his tourney team was just the beginning, so we'll see (again in Week2).
Final: 48 - 20 Raleigh Thunder

Week 1
Game: Bad Boys (0-0) vs. Dazz (0-0)

Bad Boys by 9

Analysis: The first true game of the week.  The Bad Boys showed a complete turnaround with last seasons efforts and not that I want to keep mentioning the Royal Flush...but at least this year they won't have to see them in the playoffs.  A cast of returners will bring experience to the field and new edition Errol Hood should make the defense a bit more solid...that is if he doesn't QUIT on you.  So we know the Boys can score they just have to keep from getting scored on.  Dazz, newcomers to the league but not the game, as last years PSI runner's up and a solid team should be a formidable foe and that makes this game a little tougher to pick.  I will have to go with the experience in this one, because the Bad Boys is still one of the fastest around and could prove a bit much for Dazz to handle...and although they (Dazz) are familiar with the game...there's always something different about the regular season.
Final: 34 - 24 Bad Boys

Week 1
Game: Raw Talent (0-0) vs. Da Inc. (0-0)

Raw Talent by 18

Analysis: Captain Que Wright (Da Inc.) has been rebuilding for some time now and hopefully things can turnaround quickly, although that may have to come in Week 2.  Raw Talent is a talented team as witnessed in the PSI, and it will be interesting to see how they fair during the course of the season.  However, constant personnel issues with Da Inc. and trying to play games with 4 players is just not going to get it done.  Raw Talent is a big, strong, physical team and will probably send Da Inc. into bankruptcy.  That's all I going to say about this one.
Final: 40 - 6 Raw Talent

Week 1
Game: Chaos (0-0) vs. Triangle Triggermen (0-0)

Chaos by 16

Analysis: I like Chaos...saw them at the Tourney and they looked good...not ready to take on some of the upper echelon teams, but can 'stick' with them.  Can't think of their names, but the QB is very good and they have a big, wiry, receiver who can go get it.  Not sure what former Chargers and now Captain Mike Bailey is bringing with the Triggermen, so have to go with Chaos in this one.
Final: 28 - 12 Chaos

Week 1
Game: Carolina Chargers (0-0) vs. Titans (0-0)

Titans by 13

Analysis: If this is not the year of the Titans, I'm giving up on this team.  One of the most 'talented' in the League...they just can't seem to win Ball Games....lots of new and good editions should make them very formidable.  2 seasons from now, if the team stays together and gets on the same page, they become serious contenders.  Although the time could be now.  Dunn has done a wonderful job recruiting, so this could be a breakout year.  The Chargers on the other hand have been a little secretive in what they're bringing back to the table, so I don't have much in regards to a scouting report on them...hence my Titans pick.  Let's see what happens.
Final: 32 - 13 Titans
