FREE AGENT DRAFTING...

Beginning in Season TRIIIPL3™ and moving forward, the way Free Agents are drafted will be changing slightly. Although Free Agents can still be drafted in the traditional way, by submitting a pre-registration form, their names added to the Free Agent Draft List, and those Managers and teams seeking players may contact and sign them. However, to eliminate the wasted time spent and roster spots lost by Managers contacting players who are not serious about playing, Free Agents will now receive a Free Agent Priority Status determination upon pre-registration.

This status will be contingent upon and affected primarily by prepayment of the League's registration fees. We've determined that those players who are most serious about getting on a team and getting on the field will have no trouble prepaying and those are the players that teams and managers should be most interested in. We'll also be creating at least one (1) Free Agent team that will consist of Free Agents who prepay, yet may not want to take the chance of waiting to be contacted by a team manager, as they will be automatically drafted to the first available Free Agent team based on availability at their respective position.

FREE AGENT PRIORITY STATUS KEY:
Normal: Free Agent has simply pre-registered their interest. They will be added to the hardcopy list that will be updated and distributed to managers twice a week.
High: Guarantees you get on the field. Prepayment is required and your name will be added to the hardcopy list, as well as our NEW! FEATURED FREE AGENT feature on the website, plus a personalized email will be sent to Managers to let them know you are serious about playing (if you choose not to Automatically be added to the Free Agent Team).

When you prepay, you will still have the option to choose Traditional Free Agency or our new 'Insta-Draft' Option which will automatically draft you to the Free Agent team, if your position is available. With a roster maximum of 13, we'll attempt to fill 11 spots for the Free Agent Team(s) and Managers can add additional players (up to two (2) more). The individual Free Agent fee will be set at $50.00 (Team Rate $550.00 / 11 = 50) ... a prorated fee will be offered to additionally added players, once the team has been filled or after the season has started.

Of course the Free Agent team(s) will need Managers. We'll take care of the hard part, placing players, collecting waivers, fees, etc., and we'll even setup some practice and scrimmage times for teams, however, we'll need someone to lead the team into battle, turn in lineup cards, and basically be the direct line of contact between the team and the Front Office. For any Free Agent who volunteers to manage the team, we'll extend a SPECIAL OFFER on registration and include a FREE Team Shirt. Teams shirts will be provided to the team at a discounted cost of $12.00 per shirt (regularly $15.00) ... this will also take the guess work away from the new Manager in having to order uniforms, etc.

Remember, prepaying in advance will not obligate you to participate and your fees are 100% refundable if you decide not to participate and cancel prior to July 5th, 2010. You may be subject to a $10.00 late cancellation penalty in the event you cancel after this date.

Start Date: Sunday, July 11^th, 2010 (all games will be played on Sundays)
Game Times: Will vary week to week from the hours of 9 am – 5 pm
Venue: Marsh Creek Park, 3050 Marsh Creek Road, Raleigh, NC 27614 (A ‘power’ hitter’s dream park)
No. of Games: Will be determined by the Final Team Count.
